“Beverly is a Community Assistant at Charter Senior Living of Gallatin, which means that she is a Caregiver, Dietary Aide, Transportation Coordinator, Bath Technician, and Back-up Life Enrichment Coordinator all at the same time. To say that she is flexible is an understatement.

Beverly is one of those “one in a million” associates that we all wish we had more of in our communities. She truly possesses a “servant’s heart” and constantly brings joy to everyone around her. Not only is she gifted at serving seniors, but she also stands out as the ultimate team player. Her colleagues appreciate her for the simple reason that she loves without judgment and would truly do anything to help others.”

“Rose provides vital communication to nursing staff to immediately identify concerns, change of condition in order to minimize condition decline in clients. Quick attention to these identifiers have significant impact to reduce the risk and severity of possible infections.

Her calm professionalism projects confidence and calmness with families in crisis. This impacts the ongoing care experience and reduces the anxiety and unknowns for a family in crisis. Rose’s empathy and understanding during end of life experiences make the process meaningful and special to a family. She calmly handles the care and stoically lets family lean into her. This impacts a very important time in someone’s life, and there are no second chances for the end of life.”

“She makes sure she always knows something about you so you will have something to talk about. If you tell her you had something important to do and won’t be at work, she will follow up on your well-being when she sees you again. She will call and check on a staff member if they’re missing at work for a couple of days. She has made visits to the hospital to visit residents/staff members.

She is a motivated coworker and CNA. I asked her why she never became a nurse, because she would be outstanding. Her reply was, “I love getting to know my residents, and I get to spend so much time with them as a CNA”.
